Ecclesiastes 3:11

"He has made everything beautiful in its time. He has also set eternity in the human heart; yet no one can fathom what God has done from beginning to end."

This is ETX Custom Photos’ mission verse. To capture the beauty of God's creations is a miracle and I am blessed when i can be there in its time. This verse explains the limitations of man to witness all that He has done, so we must appreciate what we have time to witness.

My only hope as a photographer is to share as much as I can with others—and to show what a beautiful world we live in. Even though my photos may not capture eternity, I hope they may capture a lifetime.

About me

I’m a photographer with 8 years of experience, mainly in real estate—working privately with land brokerages to market recreational and raw land.

From the beginning, I’ve valued versatility. That’s part of why I branded myself as “custom.” Too often, we’re steered toward what people want to sell us, not what we truly need. I’ve learned to stay adaptable—always improving not just what I offer as a business, but how I grow as a father, a brother, and a fellow human being.

Over the years, I’ve photographed many homes and thousands of acres. But during my time marketing real estate, I noticed something: land wasn’t given the same respect as residential listings. Finely edited HDR photos were the standard for homes, but land listings were often limited to maps, rough aerial shots, and a couple photos of a road or trail.

I wanted to change that.

I started capturing more than just roads. I found creeks, signs of wildlife, unique trees and stumps, wildflowers, interesting terrain—elements that told the story of the land. Even something as simple as an old stump—one that might be mulched over one day—speaks to the history of a place. Maybe it marks a past timber cut or a tree that stood there for generations.

There’s more to a 20-acre piece of forest than what you can see from the road. I go in and discover what makes it special, sometimes finding features even the owners didn’t know were there. When I get there, I aim to capture that sense of adventure and wonder.

My goal is always to spark nostalgia. A great photo of a property should feel familiar, like you’ve already been there. A quality listing should not only inform—it should invite curiosity and connection.

I’ve since brought this same approach into other types of photography, like sports and events. Whether it’s telling the story of a key play in a game, or capturing the emotion of a graduation or family reunion, I want my photos to be more than just images. I want them to be memories, shared and preserved.
